Resveratrol has proven to support the body’s natural antioxidant systems involved in detoxification, such as the Phase II liver detoxification pathway. It also boosts the strength of gastrointestinal glutathione peroxidase, an enzyme whose main role is to protect the organism from oxidative damage. But this is not all: Resveratrol is known to activate the SIRT1 enzyme in humans. When active, this enzyme ”tells” body cells to break down stored fat, increasing energy levels and detoxifying the organism. This happens naturally when on a calorie restricted diet, but Resveratrol concentrate mimics the effect.
Resveratrol is a natural compound produced by plants in response to fungal infections, injury, stress and UV radiation. It’s considered part of their natural “defense system”, protecting the plant’s delicate tissue from illness and disease. This element can be found in the stems, leaves and skins of red grapes. Thus, red wine has high levels of Resveratrol, specially those that go trough long fermentation processes.
Studies investigating the benefits of red wine revealed that drinking moderate amounts reduces the risk of heart disease in middle aged people by up to 50%. Scientists came upon this connection while studying what they call “the French paradox”: They wondered why the French have less coronary disease and cancer rates, when a typical French diet is often rich in saturated fat. Researchers concluded that the Resveratrol in red wine was responsible for the drink’s protective effects on human health. Among its benefits, Resveratrol decreases inflammation, helping prevent the fibrotic changes that toxins cause in the body, specially the lungs. An increased function of the mitochondria within the cells has also been reported, which in turn accelerates fat-burning, with a faster cell recovery and escalating endurance. X3Resveratrol contains as much Resveratrol as 100 glasses of red wine, without the calories that alcohol can add to the waistline.
“When I first started taking Resveratrol, I noticed an uptick in my general energy level. Fewer "tired days", and more energetic workouts at the gym. I've now finished the first bottle of capsules, and I even enjoy a deeper and better nigh sleep. Also, I recently had an accident in which I sliced my scalp open with a sharp object; bled profusely. I have to say that the healing process from that injury was remarkably quick! Coincidence? I don't think so!.”
“I'm currently taking 750mg to 1000mg a day, and I can say without a doubt that this stuff absolutely enhances my athletic ability. I typically run 5k's a week in 20 minutes, and I'm always exhausted afterward. But after one week of Resveratrol, I ran the same distance in 18 minutes and was feeling like I could do it again. Incidentally, it's a great anti-inflammatory; way better than any aspirin or ibuprofen I've experienced. It also seems to dramatically shorten the length of the common cold. I love this stuff, it just seems too god to be true.”

I've been taking Resveratrol for two months now. I’ve never been big on the whole work out thing, I tend to be too tired to even start doing exercise and I lose interest really quick. So what really amazes me lately is my desire to get out of the house and do something...anything! So far I've cleared my backyard of weeds, cleaned every kitchen cabinet in the house and today I'm starting on the garage (which is a BIG chore!). I have no interest in sitting in front of the T.V. and doing nothing anymore. I want to get outside and move! I've always taken vitamin supplements, but Resveratrol is the only thing I've changed in the last few months, so I can only credit my new found enthusiasm to this amazing formula. I even lost 3 pounds last week, I’m feeling younger than ever!”
Several agents affect our bodies every day. Among them, there are some unstable molecules called free radicals. They are generated by normal body processes such as breathing and digestion, and also from exposure to pollution, toxins and UV radiation. Free radicals attack healthy cells, damaging important parts of their structure, as well as proteins, membranes and DNA. Free radical damage to cells is associated with a variety of health complications, including immune issues. It's also believed to play an important part in the aging process and has been linked to the development of cardiovascular disease. Resveratrol counter-effects this oxidative damage, protecting the organs and increasing energy and vitality at the same time.
In 1997, Science magazine published a study on Resveratrol’s effects on the health of obese mice.
This study, held by David Sinclair (from Harvard Medical School), uncovered several benefits that can be enjoyed from the consumption of this Resveratrol:
